Contact Newwebs Techs

Newwebs Techs is written and run by a small group, and this is the page that tells you how to reach them. Whether you have spotted an error in something we published about Plain-language help for building and running your own website, have a question an article did not answer, or want to talk business, it all starts at one address.

The inbox

info@newwebstechs1.site

A single address, deliberately. Splitting it into support and sales and press inboxes would just mean three places for a message to get lost.

Outside what we can help with

Three things come up often and the answer is always no. We do not intervene with other companies on your behalf, we do not give advice for one specific situation, and we do not help with accounts we have nothing to do with. The legal notice says why.

Flagging an error

Point at the error rather than describing it in general, and we will deal with it fast. The mechanics, including when a change gets a dated note, live in the editorial policy.

What helps us answer

Tell us exactly what you are after and you will hear back sooner. Broad messages sit longer only because they take more unpicking.

1. Request first, story second. We act on the request and read the story for context.
2. The URL, not a summary of it. Pasting the link is faster for both of us than describing the page.
3. Symptom and expectation. What the page did and what you thought it would do, side by side.

Response times

Most messages get an answer within two working days. Longer questions take longer, and when something needs checking before we can give a straight answer we would rather be slow than wrong.
